Travel | Day Trip to Oxford

Note: I was supposed to post this last week, but uni work got in the way! Woops!

Last weekend, Hallie and I spontaneously went on a day trip to Oxford organised by International Students’ Association of our university. As you may know, the both of us are in our final year and we want to make every moment count. So, we kicked off the final year with a day trip to Oxford!

And oh boy, what a good day we had just learning more about the history of Oxford and visiting most of its famous landmarks and other historical attractions!

Christchurch Park.

Lunch at Head of The River.

Radcliffe Camera.
Hogwarts Infirmary – I mean, Divinity Hall!
A cute ice-cream cafe in Oxford.
Autumnal shades in Oxford.
Processed with VSCO with 3 preset
A black and white photo is a must in every trip!

Photos taken on my phone.

Oxford was even more breath-taking in person and I couldn’t fathom how glad I was that I could visit it with Hallie.

No words can describe how much I enjoyed feasting my eyes on the caramel-coloured walls and walking on the cobble-stones manicuring the pavements. Oxford certainly had its charms that hit me home. Somewhere in me knew that this beautiful cove of history could probably be a future home if I wanted it to be.

If only.

Anyway, Happy Belated Halloween to those observing! Hope you guys had a “spooky” one! My flatmates and I don’t observe Halloween (as much as it would give us a good reason to dress up as whoever we want!).

However, we seem to have a knack for horror/supernatural movies lately, so we spent the night in with Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow.

I guess most of Tim Burton’s movies can be considered good Halloween classics!

Until next time,

Fifi.
