Portraiture: Favourites in 2015

Here is a series of my personal favourites that I’ve taken on film in 2015. All photos were taken using various films on Canon AV-1.

I never thought that I would be shooting a lot of portraits, so this was really unexpected.

I hope you love them!

  1. I’m still not as comfortable with photographing people apparently but looking at yours makes me want to try. ❤ I have always been in love with portraits but have no idea how to take them and your portraits are definitely a goal I wish I could complete someday, these are beautiful! Looking forward for more portraits this year!

    1. It’s always good to try something that pushes you out of your comfort zone and it sounds like a doable resolution for the brand new year! I don’t there’s ever a right way of taking portraits, so it’s good to experiment different angles and poses (for your subject, if not candid) like I did. Thank you so much for your support all this time and I look forward to read about your trip to Seoul! ❤

    1. Thank you, May! These were all taken on film, so these are true tonal qualities that different films have. I did some colour correction for a couple of photos on Photoshop, but that’s about it. 🙂 Thank you for your kind words! I’m still a budding film photographer, so it’s nice to hear that others find these beautiful!

      Take care
